magnesium chloride hexahydrate in dialysate

This question comes from our regional drug information center:
"A dialysis centre has used Baxter's Magnesium-45 0.5-4.5 (magnesium chloride hexahydrate USP 20.5 g/ 4.5 L, DIN 02219301) in the dialysate.  This product is labelled "for hemodialysis".  A cheaper product has been identified available from PCCA (magnesium chloride USP hexahydrate powder labelled "for prescription compounding").  Does  anyone have experience using the PCCA product in the dialysate for hemodialysis?  Thanks."
