RPNs Administering IV Meds for Hemo Patients

We have recently hired RPNs in our Renal Program to work in the Hemodialysis Unit. (Previously all nurses were RNs). The issue of whether or not RPNs should adminsiter IV medications has arisen. In most areas of our hospital, RPNs do not administer any IV medication and I can't find any RPNs who are authorized to given medications IV push.

Does anyone have experience with policies surrounding RPN administration of IV medication in your unit?
