Stenotrophomonas Peritonitis

Hi everyone,

We have had a recent strange coincidence? of 3 patients with peritonitis growing Stenotrophomonas. Our regional guidelines indicate that we should be treating with co-trimoxazole. I am having a terrible time finding decent literature regarding the dosing regimen for intraperitoneal use of co-trimoxazole. Does anyone out there have any experience with this? I would greatly appreciate the advice.
