calcium carbonate powder

Is anyone familiar with a calcium carbonate product/capsule that can be opened and spread on food or tasteless powder that could be used as a binder? Cal-100 is available in the U.S. and seems to be an interesting option but is unavailable in Canada. The dietitians that I work with have asked me on more than one occasions to find them a product like this.
