digoxin loading

I was wondering if anyone has any guidance or info on dig loading in HD patients. Some references recommend a low dose (i.e. 0.0625mg) over 48h while others recommend 50% inital dose, then 25% at 4 and 12hr each or 3 equal doses q6h. I know it would depend on whether the patient was symptomatic or not but any general rules of thumb?
