test doses for Venofer

We are still doing test doses before each dose of Venofer, in spite of minimal literature to support it. I've heard that several centres have stopped doing this. I'd like to find out who has done away with test doses for Venofer. Did any of the staff or physicians have any concerns before stopping the test doses? Have you had any problems?
