Pamidronate in multiple myeloma

Has anyone used i.v. pamidronate for the treatment of hypercalcemia in multiple myeloma patients? If so, what would be considered the best approch to dosing in a patient on hemodialysis (mon-wed-thurs)? Any literature on the subjet? Your insight would be greatly appreciated.
