Sodium thiosulfate Cost

Hello RPN,

The only Canadian manufacturer of sodium thiosulfate 25%, 10 mL is Hospira but the cost is $66.15/10 mL vial which equates to $661/25 g dose or $2000/week for 25 g 3x/week.

American Regent in the U.S. manufactures a 50 mL vial that only costs $7.48 US/vial or $15/25g dose or $45/week - a HUGE cost difference.

My question to the group is:

How much do you pay for sodium thiosulfate?

Has anyone successfully ordered the American Regent product through Special Access?
