galantamine (Reminyl) in HD patients

Any experiences with this drug? A geriatrician would like to put one of our hemo patients on this medication. I found no good references other than to avoid in CrCl<9 mL/min and to avoid doses more than 16mg/day in "moderate" impairment. Thanks in advance for any information.
