3x/weekly warfarin dosing

Has anyone ever seen 3x/weekly warfarin dosing in the hemodialysis population? One of our nephrologists has dosed 2 patients successfully for atrial fibrillation. This was a compliance issue which started this atypical dosing regimen. Any experiences or thoughts?
